Hi!! Welcome back to the blog! It has been a little while but I hope you're enjoying your March so far! I'm honestly so happy that March is here, and that spring is starting in just a few days. I'm all here for more sunlight, flowers blooming, spending more time outdoors, and iced coffee weather of course! Anyways, for this week's blog post, I wanted to share my thoughts on just chasing your passions and going for it - whether it's starting a new passion project or hobby that you've always been wanting to do, or picking up a previous passion project or hobby and making it a current part of your life.

A little more than a week ago, I decided to start a YouTube channel. YouTube has been such a comfort place for me, and I absolutely love watching creators share about all things self-care, fashion, beauty, and just their day-to-day lives. And, I decided, why not start my own channel? At first, I was a little hesitant because it seemed like a lot of work, especially with being a full-time college student. But, I realized, why don't I try it? So, I filmed my first video, edited it and posted it. And genuinely, creating YouTube videos has brought me so much joy. Just sharing about all thing self-care, wellness routines, and fashion - things that started my blog 3 years ago. Self-Care by Esha was also created as a passion project and I've continued it as one to this very day.

I feel like we can be so hesitant in trying new hobbies or passion projects because we feel that they need to be perfect or aesthetic. And it can be hard when we're surrounded with all these narratives on social media. But, to me, pursuing a passion project or hobby has nothing to do with perfection. Instead, it's something that brings you joy. It doesn't need to be at all aesthetic. Honestly, the second you let go of wanting these hobbies to be perfect, they'll bring you more fulfillment. And that's exactly how I feel about YT. I decided, let me just post and that's what I did! So, if you've been feeling like you want to try a new hobby, go for it! Don't let anything hold you back. SCBE has brought me so much joy and happiness because I just went for it. I started my blog, and wrote and created not perfectly, but authentically, and it's brought me nothing but joy and excitement!

So, let go of perfection. Start that channel, create a piece of artwork, learn how to play the piano, style new outfits, etc. Hobbies are meant to be fun, they're meant to help us de-stress, and help us take care of ourselves! So, chase your passions today – not for perfection, but for the pure joy they bring to your life and the authentic person they help you become.

I hope you have a beautiful rest of the week!
