Hi guys and welcome back to the blog! I hope you've been doing well and having a good start to the year. Even, if it hasn't been the best, that's totally okay. Sometimes, a new year feels like we need to put all this pressure on ourselves to be the best version of ourselves. But, sometimes we need to just meet ourselves where we're at and give ourselves grace for just trying our best! For me, I don't do new years resolutions because I feel like they put a lot of pressure on me to just be perfect and overachieve. Rather, I like to mood board and put together images that reflect who I am, where I am in my life, and how I want to move about my life on the daily. So, with that being said, I've created a new mood board that I hope also resonates with you. My idea going into this one was to create an aesthetic of "a girl that truly just romanticizes her life". She starts her days slowly, enjoys her go-to breakfast that she has almost every morning, she wears clothes that feel unique to her and make her feel confident. She is not really a trend-follower, but rather dresses with intention. She always has her wired headphones in because a happy girl is a girl that chronically listens to music. She always has her jewelry on to make her feel her best. She is not coffee obsessed but does love a cup or two of coffee every single day to bring that smile to her face in the morning or maybe even a matcha. There are mostly neutrals making up this wallpaper (the greys, the browns, the blacks, the creams) but I added pops of color because it's symbolic to me of how it feels to do small things that bring you joy every day. It fills your cup up and makes you feel like you. And of course the quote to just remind you that nothing really matters that much and you should just do more of what genuinely brings you joy on the daily. Whether it's getting dressed, experimenting with your style, having a feel-good routine, being creative, whatever it is! I hope this mood board inspires you and allows you to truly romanticize the little things. Because sometimes life can be hard, and we can be going through the downs. But, what's gets me through these moments is remembering that there are always small things I can do to make me feel better. Whether it's getting dressed in an outfit that feels like me, or listening to some upbeat music, or being creative, or just having a slow start to the day. This mood board is a reminder to show up for you! <3

Remember to take good care of yourself and know that you're doing your best every day.
